Do you want to jump start your 3ds Max training? In this exciting and new 30-day workshop, Certified Autodesk Instructor and 3ds Max trainer Pat Gombarcik, will guide and motivate you through this highly enjoyable and intensive class. This is a great opportunity to learn 3ds Max basics for a fraction of the cost of a normal workshop, and all in a friendly and informal atmosphere.

Pat Gombarcik specializes in 3ds Max Fundamentals to Intermediate Level and her 30-day quick start class is especially designed for students with little or no experience with 3ds Max. This workshop will give you the basic knowledge required to begin designing and creating your own models and scenes. Material will cover all of the buttons, tabs, icons, menus, and more, that make up the User Interface. Gain practical experience making, moving and modifying basic primitive objects. You’ll learn to create models using more advanced techniques as we look at Spline and Polygonal modeling. You’ll also learn to create and apply simple materials to objects, add basic lights and render your scenes.

This Autodesk Animation Academy (AAA) class offers an excellent introduction to the tools and workflow inside 3ds Max and a clear understanding of the five specific AAA modules. These modules include:

* Phases of the Moon - Learn about the different phases of the Moon as you build an animated Earth-Moon System.

* Architectural Reconstruction of the Parthenon - build a 3D replica of the Parthenon and make a walkthrough of the Parthenon showing what it would have looked like to people as they approached it and walked inside.

* Digestive System - Create an accurate model of the Human Digestive System and an animation that displays how the organs work together.

* Weather System (Tornado) - Learn all about the Earth’s atmosphere and how different weather systems are formed; then create a simulation of a Tornado moving through the countryside.

* Forensics - Learn about the field of Forensics and how an accurate likeness of a person can be recreated using only the Human skull.
